The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing divine entities, fiends, and dark forces expanding in power within the city.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will split off from the main group to undertake their independent quest, separate from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Strategists, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might seem unsuited, but the actions of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

First, the team understands precisely where to go next after a intense first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing started the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then settled his obligations and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the companion and best friend, wants vengeance.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the group access places they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are sought by the powers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally too risky:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in search of Casimir.

Future Episodes

Based on the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the combat party will not appear the following episode, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Explorers and Schemers parties.

Fans can expect learning which characters will be where in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on October 24.
